All students need to be working on completing the Age of Absolutism PowerPoint Packet. All students need to be working on completing the Age of Absolutism Test Study Guide. STUDENTS – YOU NEED TO READ THIS --- All classes will have three or four CANVAS DBQ’s to finish in class this week . I will put them on CANVAS over the weekend. They will only be open during school hours. I am doing that because I have heard that some of my classes are not behaving properly and are not on task – some students completing no work at all – and some students actually walking out of class. That is not the kind of behavior I expect from my students. I know that is only a few students. I know that 95% of you are angels. I am always so proud of you. You are my pride and joy. I am hoping that by having those CANVAS assignment available only during class hours those students will care enough to stay on task. I know they will. You are awesome! COMING UP : Friday, February 14 th – Early Release Day Monday, February 17 th – HOLIDAY / NO SCHOOL – Presidents’ Day The Age of Absolutism Test will be on Thursday, February 20th th , and Friday, February 21st The Age of Absolutism PowerPoint Packet will be due the day of the Test The Test Study Guide is optional, not mandatory, but was highly recommended. I will not be collecting it. Hey Kids - Please Note what I said below - t he zeros are only for the Renaissance and Reformation Test. That is because it was back on January 23rd --- AND.... You can still make up that test. It was just to get it done in time for Interim Reports. YOU CAN STILL MAKE UP THE TEST . No one will get a zero for the Age of Discovery Test. You just took that. There's plenty of time to make that up. I have updated all of the test scores up until 12:15 today, Friday, 2/7/20. If you take the test after 12:15 today you need to let me know. Tell Mr. or Mrs. Pappas and they will text me your score and I will look it up to put it in Pinnacle before 3:00. Do that asap. IMPO RTANT : If you need to make up the Renaissance and Reformation Test You need you to do so in the next few days. I nterim grades close on the 7th at 3:00 and I have to put in zeros for that missing test . You have to find a teacher willing to monitor you during your study hall or before school in the next few days to make up the test. If you want to take it during your study hall you need to make sure that your study hall teacher is willing to closely watch you and monitor you. They must email me to tell me it is okay. They might be busy and not be willing or able to do that. Then you need to contact me so that I can open the test. This is very important. You can do that this week and next week as well . She is not avaiable Friday, 2/7 , but is avaiable all other days this week and next week. I have moved the test to the following Monday and Tuesday. The course selection cards are due on Mon 2/3 and Tue 2/4 during your English classess.REMEMBER - for me to approve and sign you into an AICE or AP class you must have A's and B+'s for each quarter and 4's and 5's for test scores.
